The Situation: The owners were downsizing and stressed out about the tasks ahead.
Services Provided: Reduced and re-arranged existing furniture and decorative items for staging. Supervised yard and house repairs and clean-ups. The home sold in 30 days for 95% of asking price.
Sorted, purged and packed 30-year accumulation of items. Managed donation, sale, and disposal of items. Procured storage units in NJ and Maine. Worked with two different movers to accomplish on-time, on-budget moves well before closing date.
Staged a Small Waterfront Home in Maine for Realtors
The Situation: The owners were considering selling.
Services Provided: Removed clutter and some furniture to a storage unit. Selected best furniture and decorative items to remain in house. Supervised thorough cleaning and minor repairs. Owners ultimately elected not to list home, but kept the staged house look for the most part because “the house feels more open and serene.”
Staged a large home in Marion
The Situation: Home listed in May 2015 and sold in September 2015.
Services Provided: Re-arranged existing furniture and decorative items for staging. Recommended switching furniture between several rooms, including art, to improve sense of spaciousness. Assisted with selection of new linens and pillows, as well as creation of a “ladies dressing room.” Prepared room-by-room checklist for owner to use prior to showings so that house will look its best for each prospective buyer.
Decluttered and Staged a 9 room home in New Hampshire
The Situation: Home was listed in July 2015. Home sold in four days for full asking price.
Services Provided: Selected neutral colors for repainting downstairs, and re-doing master bathroom. Recommended critical repairs as well as carpet cleaning. Reduced and re-used existing furniture and decorative items for staging. Managed thorough cleaning. Assisted with staging for photograph shoot.
Managed clean up and repair of outside of home, including landscaping, siding and lighting repair.
Assisted with sorting and disposal of items to charities, recycling and dump.
Re-Organized Several Rooms in a Large Home in Wareham
The Situation: This house had lots of space but many items were located far from where they were actually used, and were difficult to retrieve.
Services Provided: Began with kitchen, rearranging items in cupboards and drawers to be more efficient and functional. Moved on to home office, including storage of office supplies, filing of important papers, repurposing of desk, and improvements to lighting. Re-organized large upstairs hall closet, discarding expired toiletries and medicines and arranging remaining items in an organized and aesthetically pleasing manner. Re-designed laundry room as a classic seaside “bath house locker room,” providing space for clothing, towels, shoes (and laundry!). The grandchildren love it.
Re-purposed Spare Room as a Home Office in a Cottage in Wareham
The Situation: This room had been a dumping ground for clothes, books, papers and other things.
Services Provided: Assisted owner with sorting and disposing of these items, and in creating additional storage space in other parts of the cottage to accommodate the things she wished to keep. Together we created a pleasant, well-organized home office in which she now enjoys spending time.

Services Provided: Assisted owner with de-cluttering and reclaiming workspace, as well as selecting and inventorying items for auction. Recommended and implemented storage solutions for tools, archival materials and memorabilia.
